BREACH OF THE LIQUOR ACT.

At the Central Police Court yesterday, before Mr A. W. Barnett D.S.M., Charles Murcott, licensee of the Railway Hotel, George-street, charged with keeping his licensed premises open for the sale of liquor during prohibited hours on June 11, was fined £4, with 5s 6d costs of court; In default, one month’s imprisonment with hard labour.
